Techniques that work on all hair types
Previous dreadlocks were done at a differnt salon using the wrong method for this client’s hair texture. - Client’s Locs were redone using the crochet method at our salon. The change was instant!
This client started with very short hair. We created new dreadlocks, added in human hair extensions, and finished the look with blunted tips.
Previous work was done by a non-certified loctician and did not hold well at all for this client. -Client’s Locs were brushed out and we started over with the crochet method, added in extensions, then finished with a two-strand twist protective style.
This client's hair is very thick, coarse, and straight. With the help of a little bit of added in texturized hair extensions, we were able to get them to start locking much faster!
From freeform dreadlocks to individualized locs! The client had never had work done before and had just allowed the dreadlocks to lock up naturally. We worked through the hair separating from the base down, reforming every loc, joining + reattaching broken locs, and repairing all his locs to a uniformed cylindrical shape. What a transformation!
